  • Joseph grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana. After graduating from Purdue University with a BS and MS degree in Engineering he moved to Summerville in 1986 with his wife Debra. Joseph is very active in the community and has been a member of Summerville Presbyterian Church for 24 years and the Rotary Club of Summerville for 18 years.

  • Kim moved to Summerville in 2011 and completed her Masters of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She has worked in all facets from case management, program development, and community engagement. She is an advocate for healthcare access, homeless prevention, and helping communities become more inclusive.

    Kim moved to Summerville in 2011 and completed her Masters of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. She has worked in all facets from case management, program development, and community engagement.   • Henry “Hank” Bennett Jr has been a resident of Summerville for over 35 years. He is married for more than 40 years to his beautiful wife, Maureen, and has raised 2 wonderful sons in the Lowcountry. Born New York City, New York., he has made a career with Robert Bosch, LLC and has been involved with local/state manufacturing organizations. Now retired, Hank dedicates time to Water Missions and the Local and Global Mission teams at Bethany UMC- volunteering and working with the youth and others in the community on their “journey” to succeed. “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased” Hebrews 13:16

    Betty graduated from Columbia College with a Degree in Business Education, she has a Master's degree from Memphis State University in Business Administration.     After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, Frank became an architect in his hometown of Chicago. In 1988 Frank and his family moved to Summerville. Frank currently sits in the role of President of the Dorchester County Development Corporation. He is also a charter member and past president of the Summerville Oakbrook Breakfast Rotary Club.

Her over 35 years of experience in administration, financial management, and senior-level leadership span both the for-profit and non-profit arenas. She is a mom of three children and nana to six grandchildren. Her love of family, travel and making a difference in her community are her passions.
