The February Summerville Area Ministerial Association (SAMA) monthly meeting convened at The Presbyterian Village of Summerville this morning at 8:00 a.m.. Fifteen were in attendance and were blessed with an informative presentation by Mrs. Leah Reason of the Dorchester County Alcohol and Drug Commission, showing us the type of program and resources she would like to bring to our churches. For those unable to attend her presentation, who might still be interested, you can contact her at 843-871-4790

The High Point of today’s meeting was the report on the great success of last month’s Week of Prayer for Christian Unity; and the presentation of the Offerings received during that Week to The Ark, The Men’s Shelter and the Women’s Shelter (a check for $1,440. to each Ministry).

Thank you SAMA and all the Churches that participated in Unity Week last Month for your continued support of the Homeless Shelters!
